This one stumped everyone—and honestly, we should have been more specific! There's a difference between "cross streets" and "intersections." Franklin Street has 9 cross streets (named roads that cross from one side to the other), but if you count every intersection point—including where roads meet Franklin from just one side—you get 17 intersections.
