My brother recently landed a feature role in an amateur theatre production of “Singing In The Rain”. Despite what the title infers - there is nothing amateur about it. Production value is high, and the acting takes you out of the auditorium and into your own magical sing-song world. Needless to say - a very proud brother right here.

This decision came after efforts by the theatre's staff and Board of Directors to secure additional funding and lower production expenses were unsuccessful. Among the affected productions is the Broadway hit "Rent," which was scheduled for late April. The filing for bankruptcy and suspension of the upcoming season represents a significant setback for the theatre, which is a cultural landmark in Raleigh, marking a "sad day for Raleigh" according to reports. This move is aimed at restructuring the theatre's finances while attempting to navigate through its current financial difficulties.

This unusual call turned out to be one of the most memorable moments for Deputy Chafa, showcasing the unexpected challenges and joys of law enforcement work.

SAFETY WARNING ISSUED AFTER ATTEMPTED ASSAULT INCIDENT IN CARRBORO

In Carrboro, North Carolina, law enforcement officials are actively searching for a male suspect involved in an attempted sexual assault. The incident took place near Cat’s Cradle on E. Main Street. According to reports, the suspect approached a woman with the intent to commit a sexual assault, but she managed to escape before the act could be completed. The Carrboro Police Department is seeking any witnesses present during the time of the incident and advises people to remain vigilant while walking at night, recommending walking in groups for safety.
