A Night of Records and Reflections: UNC Seniors Celebrate with Decisive Victory

On a memorable evening in March 2024, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill basketball team celebrated Senior Night in grand style, delivering a commanding 84-51 win over Notre Dame. This triumphant game ensured the Tar Heels a share of the Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season championship, a notable achievement marking the team's 33rd title. Among the evening's highlights was Armando Bacot's record-setting 162nd game for the ACC, contributing significantly with 14 points and five rebounds. RJ Davis led the scoring with a vibrant 22 points and six assists, while Harrison Ingram's all-around performance netted 11 points and 14 rebounds. The team's defense shone brightly, restricting Notre Dame to a shooting percentage below 35%. With this victory, the Tar Heels bolstered their season record to 24-6, including a 16-3 standing in the ACC, proudly positioned as the country's No. 7 ranked team.
