Celebrating 50 Years: Chapel Hill Transit Announces Logo Contest Winner

Chapel Hill Transit is thrilled to announce the winner of the logo design competition for its 50th Anniversary. Congratulations to Duncan and Meg Morgan for their incredible design from High Street Design. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the talented participants who submitted their amazing artwork. The creativity and support shown by the community are deeply appreciated.

As Chapel Hill Transit marks 50 years of service, the organization invites the community to join in the celebration and share their thoughts on how to commemorate this milestone. Volunteers and sponsors are being sought, and feedback is welcomed to understand what Chapel Hill Transit means to the community. The brief survey can be filled out here or by visiting the Chapel Hill Transit website.

PlayMakers Repertory Company has opened ticket sales for its 2024-25 season, featuring a blend of classic and contemporary productions. The season includes notable plays such as

Artists Wanted: Submit Your Designs for Chapel Hill's Rosemary Street Column

An exciting new artist call has been announced for beautifying a column at The Porch's street-level entrance in Downtown Chapel Hill. Open to Triangle artists aged 18 and above, the project offers a $6,000 stipend and $100 for up to three finalists. The installation is scheduled for Fall 2024, with applications due by July 30 at 5 pm. Find out more information here.
